Project Overview
The Fuze Ballpark project involved comprehensive steel detailing for a multi-tier sports facility, integrating structural framing, circulation systems, and lateral stability components. The project required precise coordination between primary and secondary framing systems to ensure constructability and efficient erection.
Structures Online (SOL) developed detailed 3D models and fabrication-ready drawings, focusing on connection accuracy, alignment, and coordination in high-density structural zones.
Scope of Work
Primary Structural Framework : A multi-tier structural system consisting of columns, beams, and girders arranged in a coordinated grid. Member positioning and elevations were aligned to support fabrication and erection.
Secondary Framing System : Closely spaced secondary beams were detailed to support floor systems, with connection offsets and clearances coordinated for decking integration.
Bracing System : Diagonal bracing arrangements were detailed across multiple bays, with gusset plates and connection geometry designed for structural stability.
Staircase System : Interconnected stair flights and landings were modeled with supporting framing, ensuring alignment and continuity across levels.
Node and Intersection Detailing : High-density connection zones were detailed with precise coordination of members to avoid congestion and maintain constructability.
